Leland Avenue Residence, San Francisco
By limiting parking to the required minimum, this hospice facility gained a large yard and terrace where there had once been asphalt. Residents can gather on the terrace adjacent to the dining room or take short walks on paths into the garden. Services included design, fundraising, construction and maintenance.
