Peacock Drive, San Rafael
A sculptural Japanese Pine and a curvilinear swimming pool were the only two elements of the former landscape preserved in this redesign. An existing deck was rebuilt and now safely encloses grandchildren. Expanded stairways lead down to the garden and the new bluestone terrace enveloping the renovated pool. A raised platform oriented to Peacock Lagoon accommodates gatherings and dining.
