Poplar Drive, Kentfield
A 1997 master plan established a renovation concept for this heavily wooded hillside property. An uninspired garage was demolished to make way for a structure with a roof line derived from the steep slope of the site. A wisteria arbor acts as an entrance portal and frames the view to Mt. Tamalpais. Stepped path ways lead to an expansive terrace with pool and spa. New plantings were chosen for compatibility with the oak woodland.
