Yankee Point Drive, Carmel Highlands
Working closely with the client and design team, Randy Thueme designed a landscape that anchors the new residence to the rugged ocean sideking a site, tadvantage of spectacular views and steep topography. Spaces were designed for the private needs of the family, for social gatherings, for play and for placing sculpture. Landscape materials include concrete, limestone, granite, corten steel, stainless steel, wood, water and fire. Plantings suitable to the ocean environment are woven throughout the composition
